Capt. Rick had Perry and Jerry from West Virginia today For a 6 hour trip. These is a very nice couple. Jerry noticed I was overheating after Perry caught a large sandbar shark that was about 3 and 1/2 feet long and I was holding him while we tried to dehook him.. She cooled me down with a wet rag and I felt much better, we had been fishing for about 4 hours or so

We departed the marina at 6:30 am and got a quite a few bites where we didn't hook up, probably some grunts or needle fish. We moved to another area and got into some small redfish, that were a couple inches short, we got some trout mixed in as well as a eating size whiting. Perry caught a good sized ladyfish that we used for Shark Bait. We caught a bonnethead at the boat while trying for whiting. The next fish we caught were 3 black drum 2 that were short and 1 keeper. In all Jerry was keeping count and we boated about 40 fish. This was a good day on the water with Good anglers and Good People.
