Capt. Jeremy had an 4 hour charter today for Miss Judy Charters. Water Temp was around 80° and the water was muddy. The group had to stay in protected water so they fished in the rivers. Caught a few keeper redfish and the lady fish are far inshore as well. The target species today was redfish due to lack of water clarity.

Capt. Rick had an 6 hour charter today for Miss Judy Charters. Water Temp was around 78.2° and the water was stained to muddy. I left the dock in the dark. I had 3 people that really didn't want to fish, just talk and ride. We did catch several trout and bluefish, no redfish today.

Capt. Jeremy had an 4 hour charter today for Miss Judy Charters. Water Temp was around 77° and the water was clear to stained. Capt Jeremy started the day early and caught and released a very nice Mangrove snapper and a couple redfish. He picked up his charter and they had non stop action catching redfish and trout and sharks. Below is a picture of a very nice bull redfish that went over 31 inches. Capt Jeremy had to spend a bit of time reviving the fish, but he swam off in good condition.

Capt. Rick had an 8 hour charter today for Miss Judy Charters. Water Temp was around 77° and the water was clear. Wind was supposed to be light and variable, but it was really closer to 10 out of the northeast. During the course of the day we caught seatrout, redfish, flouder, bluefish, bonnethead sharks. We used about 2 quarts of live shrimp and was able to avoid the afternoon storms. They enjoyed catching and releasing the sharks better than the larger seatrout and redfish.

Capt. Rick and Capt. Jeremy split 4 charters this weekend for Miss Judy Charters. Water temp all 3 days was around 76°. Capt. Rick had the first one from 7 am until 11 am on Friday the 21st. Weather was awful and we watched storms form and pass close to us. We did catch some redfish before I made a safety decision and dropped off my people at the Landings at 10:30. The weather deteriorated very rapidly and I had to seek shelter at a dock on the Wilmington River. Watched a very active lightning storm with multiple water strikes within 60 yrds of the boat. Weather cleared around 12 and Jermey had a 4 hour charter starting at 2pm. They caught some redfish, but did not have much action.

Capt. Rick had a charter today for Miss Judy Charters. Water temp was 82° and stained in most spots. The wind was out of the North at 15 + knots steady today. The Trip was a 6 hour charter that was comprised of Bill, Stephanie, Jamie, and Melonie. I have a picture of everyone except Melonie as I had to hold her fish for her. We caught Trout , Redfish, Bluefish, and ladyfish. Also caught a stingray as well. All fish were released today.

This group of people enjoyed the day on the water and we made the best of some difficult conditions. The wind blew strong all day long. We were able to squeeze in some time for Dolphin watching as well. Jamie caught a very nice 28 or so inch Bull Red. Stephanie caught the most Ladyfish and Bill landed a couple of nice Bluefish. Melanie caught a keeper sized trout and a huge ladyfish.

Capt. Rick scouted today. Water temp has cooled to 83°, and was clear. Wind was out of the sout at 10 knots. First drop missed 1 good trout bite then nothing. Next drop gave up 3 keeper trout and 2 Redfish, 1 keeper and 1 borderling. Also caught a huge bonnet head shark. The baitstealers are out in steady force as well. Moved to another Fall of the year drop and caught 1 Redfish and 1 nice bull whiting and a quite large ladyfish.

All fish were revived and successfully released. I fished the last hour of the incoming and the first 2 hours of the outgoing before heading in just before the storm. I did not have my camera today.

Capt. Rick had a charter today for Miss Judy Charters. Water temp was 87° and clear in some spots. However we had good cloud cover for most of the morning and quite a bit of rain. The Raid did give way to periods of sunshine and high humidity.

The redfish bite was strong if you could get your bait past the many pinfish and other bait stealing small fish. Besides redfish, shark and trout, the group did land a nice sheepshead . All fish caught were on live shrimp.
