Capt. Rick went on a quick scouting trip today. Kept 12 nice trout to 22 inches. All caught with live shrimp from Adams and under an inticer popping cork. Water was clear and the wind was mild. All fish caught on the last hour of the incoming and the first hour of the outgoing. You can call me direct at 912-844-8086 or call Miss Judy Charters. The fall trout run is going to start early.

Capt. Rick had a 6 hour charter today for Miss Judy Charters. Water was clear to stained due to fast currents and higher than average tides. Wind was light out of the south today. Water temp was in the mid 80's. We caught and released quite a few trout and redfish, but also everyone wanted to catch a shark, so we got into those as well. We also caught our share of blue fish and ladyfish. All in all a good day. All fish were caught on live shrimp from ADAMS Baithouse in Thunderbolt.

Capt. Rick had back to back 4 hour charters today. The water temp was mid 80's and clear. The first charter we spent out in Wassaw Sound . The weather report called for 5 to 10 out of the southwest, but it was more like 20 out of the northeast. The 4 guys enjoyed and wanted to catch some sharks, so they were in luck as some of the biggest bonnet heads of the year seemed to be schooling. We kept 3 sharks and 2 trout.

The second trip started at 11am, so we fished the bottom of the tide and some of the incoming. We did catch and release some sharks, kept a couple trout and got into a decent redfish bite to end the trip. These were inshore reds and were still on the short side of legal. We probably released 25 or more. The second picture goes with this report. The shark opend up his mouth and had to be released quickly , so the picture does not show the entire shark.

Capt. Rick had a 5 hour charter today. The water temp was 82° and stained. Had to look for clear water today. We are in the midst of ASTRONOMICAL tides. These occur 3 or 4 times a year. We experienced very high tides and extreme lows. However this did not affect our fishing. We just had to be careful in the rivers with all the trash that had been washed out of the marshes.

I had Clay, and Al today along with Clays son. Below is some of the fish we kept, and we did release the large 6.5lb redfish that Clay caught. We kept a few normal trout that AL caught, and a very nice trout that Clays son caught, right at 18.5 inches. Clay Kept a 23 inch red and released one that was over 6lbs. All in all a good day of catching. We also caught and released several blues and ladyfish.

Oh, the large trout and reds were caught under the Inticer popping cork and live shrimp from Adams Baithouse.

Capt. Rick had a 5 hour fathers day charter today. The water temp was 86° and muddy . We fished all the last hour of the incoming tide and the first 4 hours of the outgoing. We caught several fish but due to the wind and tidal movement, we didn't catch as many keeper trout as we have in the last few trips. Did catch and release a nice atlantic sharpnose shark.

1st cast, one of the anglers caught and released a 28 inch redfish, that was over 8lbs. He followed up with a 20 - 21 inch trout. We kept a few trout, 1 bonnethead shark and a whiting. Released a few short trout and they also both missed some bites.

Capt. Rick had a 6 hour charter today .The water temp was a warm 85.2° and stained . This was a last minute call so we didn't get away until 10:30am. I left the camera at home. We dodged thunderstorms most of the day, but did get caught in one on the way back. We caught a variety of bluefish, specs, ladyfish and a couple of nice bonnet heads. One of the people on the boat was an eleven year old boy and his mission was to catch his first shark, so we did target those and he landed 2.
