We tag quite a few fish and the information that is recorded you will
see in the report sent to Capt. Jeremy recently. It so happens that Capt
Jeremy tagged a fish, that I caught on Sept 18th 2011. The same fish was
recaught and that tag was recovered and sent in to the DNR. When the tag
was returned, the capturing angler also filled out some basic information.
In this instance you will see the fish grew 2 inches in 58 days. Below
the tagging information is a picture of the fish, that Jeremy took before
        he tagged it.
One good thing that is now certain, if you handle a fish properly at boatside
and quickly tag, photo and revive the fish, he will be ok. We try to only
use a boga grip if we are keeping the fish. However you can use a boga
grip to help hold the fish, just don't suspend the fish hanging only on
the boga. Support him as demonstrated below and he will be just fine.
